Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how reserveme.ai uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website, the Customer dashboard and the embeddable booking Widget. Only cookies strictly necessary for operation are set by default; all other categories require your consent where required by applicable law (GDPR, Swiss FADP, ePrivacy).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage. Cookies can be set by us (first-party) or by third parties that provide embedded services (third-party). They may be strictly necessary, functional, analytics or used by integrated third-party tools.
2. Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the Platform, the Widget and the website to function. They include authentication tokens, session identifiers, CSRF protection tokens, load-balancer affinity cookies and cookie-consent state. These are set without consent because they are necessary to deliver a service you explicitly requested.
3. Functional
Functional cookies remember your language preference, selected locale, UI preferences (for example collapsed menus) and — on the Widget — the selected equipment category between steps of a booking flow. Disabling these cookies may cause the website or Widget to behave unexpectedly but will not prevent core booking.
4. Analytics
Where you consent, we use privacy-preserving analytics to measure aggregate usage, conversion funnels and error rates. Identifiers are truncated or hashed and we do not build advertising profiles. If you withdraw consent via the cookie banner, analytics cookies are removed and no further analytics events are recorded from your device.
5. Third-party tools
Certain integrated services set their own cookies when you use them: - Stripe — for fraud prevention and 3-D Secure when you pay for a subscription. - Intercom or HubSpot — for the in-app chat and support widget on the marketing website and dashboard. - Sentry — for pseudonymised error and performance monitoring. - Google Maps™ — when maps are displayed in the Widget or dashboard. These providers act under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and a data processing agreement with us. Refer to each provider's own cookie notice for details.
6. Managing cookies
You can accept, refuse or change your cookie choices at any time through the cookie banner or the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer once implemented. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings; note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Platform from working. Questions: privacy@reserveme.ai.
